Some anglers decided to make the 1-hour, 45-minute run to popular Lake George and some have decided to stick with the nearby clear-water springs off the main river. But with the river fishing small, it's getting cozy in the hot spots. Anglers have reported seeing more bedding bass than they've ever seen in any tournament before. But, these fish aren't typical bedding bass; they're super-spooky late spawners. "This pressure makes them hard to deal with," Davy Hite said.
